Transformers for Power Plants
We provide solutions that enable power plants to operate efficiently, reliably and continuously
The global energy landscape is evolving, with a strong shift from thermal and nuclear plants toward renewable energy sources such as wind, solar, and hydropower. Furthermore, as the demand for electricity grows, driven by EVs energy storage, ensuring a stable and effective power network has become crucial. Transformers play a key role in this ecosystem, adjusting voltage levels, either increasing (stepping up) or decreasing (stepping down) them, to support reliable transmission and distribution across the grid.
TMC’s product range for power generation applications includes high-performance transformers engineered to meet the latest international standards and operational demands. Our portfolio features dry-type cast resin or VPI transformers for photovoltaic inverter systems, fully compliant with the ECO 548 regulation; transformers for battery energy storage systems (BESS), with designs optimized for both indoor and outdoor closed-coupling installations, offering compact dimensions, high short-circuit withstand capability, and excellent performance in fluctuating load conditions. In addition, we designs and manufactures motor starting transformers and excitation transformers specifically tailored to support operations and dynamic grid interfaces.
